Alice is Cynthia Lawson Jaramillo, a Colombian new media artist and academic living in New York City. The many hats that she wears include Director of an undergraduate program and full-time faculty at Parsons, computer artist and programmer, and, of course, blogger! When not in New York City, she can be found in her native Colombia sipping her favorite juice — mora. Cynthia, a femme lesbian, hates labels, particularly "queer." Any guesses on who inspired her pen name?

Fastlad
Fastlad is an Irish playwright and journalist living in New York City with his American partner. He was born in Derry and raised in Donegal. He received his B.A. (Hons) in Theatre Studies in Northern Ireland and his M.F.A. from Yale University. He has won several national awards for playwriting.

Pauline Park
As an orphan born in Korea in a year of revolution, Pauline Park was adopted and raised in the Midwest. She did her master's degree at the London School of Economics and later studied German in Berlin and in Regensburg, where she lived in a medieval tower in the ancient heart of that Bavarian city. Park did her dissertation research in Brussels and Paris for her Ph.D. in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She came out as an openly transgendered woman after moving to New York City.
